Our world is moving away from a traditional theoretical knowledge skillset to an application and hands-on experience skillset. At Aceninja, we pioneer the use of business case studies in our analysis, research and teaching. Case studies help imbue decision making capabilities in our students and they help to miniaturise real-world management problems and business strategies for companies to follow in future. While they are often based on real events, business cases may also incorporate fictional circumstances in order to fully cover student learning needs.
Definition of a Business Case
“A case study is a research strategy and an empirical inquiry that investigates a phenomenon within its real-life context,” These exploratory analyses look at the underlying principles of a person, group, event, decision, policy or other systems in order to reveal a new understanding of it toward new solutions.
The Aceninja Approach
Aceninja has business case resources that come from the world’s renowned universities such as Harvard, Cambridge, Erasmus, Tsinghua University, Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA), University of Cape Town and Moscow State University. As such, we are able to build upon expertise from different parts of the world. We cover over several hundred different companies and organisations and hail from every single industry.
Learning Vital Skills
Within the context of real-life decision-making students learn business and management theory while at the same time developing a wide range of vital skills. These include negotiation, analysis, defending and challenging viewpoints, team and lone working, and the ability to guard against making decisions based on too little information. You will also greatly enhance your confidence and employability.
